The three brothers Roberts mentioned in Geraints article are my forebears, Stephen being my Grandfather. The family are immensely proud of Stephen and his brothers, only last month we made a trip to northern France to visit the graves of Stephen and Christmas, the first family visit since they where buried after the war. On a more personal level, I have a very stromg connection to Ruthin, as a schoolboy in the 60s of Colomendy- 1965 to 1970 - I attended harvest festivals, and walked to Ruthin many times. I have always been aware of the family ties to the town, of which my mum was very proud. Any Roberts family information and in particular on John, and another family member mother spoke of 'Robert would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks and repect to Geraint for his general efforts regarding the WW1 historical records. Warmest Rgds and Thanks Charles Malcolm Carson
